SHoPpInG sPrEe...

L was a girl on a mission.
she knew what she wanted..
and what she didn't want....
she would take her stash and sit it beside M..
.M found a bench that was nice and cozy...

here is her bag-o-loot....we were waiting on the stroller.:)
they even gave Sissy a tiny bag to carry..
L told me she would carry it..
.and I could carry her big bag since it was way too heavy!
(but Daddy's wallet was a whole lot lighter after that transaction...eeks)

making sure she had everything

"WOW Daddy..that's a lot!"

Lunch time at the A.G. Bistro

We got to the store around 11:00..and our lunch reservation was at noon...L was begging to shop...but we told her we only had time to get Sissy cleaned up....then we would have lunch...then shop....so...we did...

so sweet and girly...this was one of the overhead lights

loved the decor

yummy...we all had something different...and everything was great

Sissy even had her own special "Treat Seat" ...so she could enjoy visiting with us during lunch.:)

UH-OH...this looks like a pretty serious talk to me!

Can you tell M had a good time as well?! What a good Daddy!!!

enjoying some of the veggies on her appetizer tray....
she ate the celery...

Surprise...American Girl Boutique and Bistro

Fri. 5/29
Mangie gave L her Bitty Baby a few years back for Christmas. Grand-mere and GiGi hooked her up with the crib/bedding and high chair....L has been lugging around "BeBe" for quite a while....a hand me down scroungy doll that she LOVES....but has been obsessed with her Bitty Baby- "Sissy-Lou Dora" for the past several months too....as a matter of fact....BeBe has been pushed to the side lately....Sissy goes everywhere with us...everywhere!!!! SO...I knew there was an American Girl store in Dallas....and since we were headed that way for a wedding....we went a day ahead of time to experience the store....OMG...every little girls dream come true. L didn't know where we were going...just that it was a surprise for her....it didn't hit her when we walked in...or even when Sissy was getting her hair done....but I do believe she heard angels singing the Hallelujah Chorus when she saw the Bitty Baby section.......

L choosing the ribbon colors for Sissy

About to enter a dream world.:)

had no idea....

Sissy in the waiting area...waiting her turn for her pampering

SO many hairstyles to choose from...
..Sissy doesn't have real hair...so she was cleaned up.:)

Yes...that's a real person putting Sissy's cape on...I think she has been around since the first American Girl was introduced...YIKES...after hocking up a lung a few times...she finally excused herself...and came back....poor Sissy Lou was probably traumatized!

trying her best to get off all of the paint and scratches

almost finished

L had to sign her name to pick Sissy up..it was pretty cute..and she was oh so proud!!

Ta-Da
Sissy-Lou Dora is a new girl..
It was amazing how dirty she actually was

Snuffer's and Uncle James

(sorry..out of order)
After MDO, and picking up my car....we headed to Dallas....I was excited to drive through Huntsville to see SHSU...and wanted a t-shirt oh so bad...but, the bookstores were closed,:( L slept through my whole trip down memory lane...but I know M had enough enthusiasm for them both(not) ...hearing about the good old college spots and days! Jolly Fox..those were the days.:)
M called his brother on our way to Dallas to see if he would like to meet up for dinner...at one of M's old college hangouts...Snuffer's....he had been talking about the cheese fries for days....but of course, they weren't as good as he had remembered when he was at SMU..isn't that always the case!? BUT..despite the cheese fries disappointment...we had a great time visiting and catching up with Uncle James.:)

L was SO excited to go to the hotel...little did she know what we had in store for her the following day.:)

L*auren and Uncle James....
M is 6 of 9...James is 7 of 9
Did someone say Cheese Fries?!

Last day of School (MDO)

Thurs. 5/28
My sweet girl had a wonderful year at MDO.Her teachers were so good..and I know she will miss them over the summer...and next year as well...but she will still see them.:) She'll just be in the "big girl" class...She had a great last day...school time in the morning....school wide happy meals for lunch..and a carnival to end the day..and year.:)

One last kiss from Mrs. Melody and Mrs. Tina

STRIKE

determined to get a hole in one

bean bag toss

fun in the ball pit...but apparently she saw something else.;)

These pictures were actually taken before we left...the token last day of school pictures...L decided where she needed to stand...and how she would pose...of course

work it girl!!

this was a little ballet pose she told me I needed to take a picture of...crazy girl!!
